Meet Your Dentists
The dental team includes two dentists, a dental therapist, a hygienist, and support staff. Together, they provide preventive and restorative care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Jenny Tran, D.M.D.
General Dentist
Dr. Tran provides general and restorative dentistry for children, teens, and adults. She emphasizes prevention and clear explanations so patients feel informed about their care.
Dr. Jenny Tran graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2012 and has been committed to transforming smiles ever since. With advanced training through a General Practice Residency at RUH Hospital and as a Kois Center graduate, she focuses on full-mouth restorations, smile design, and surgical procedures.
An Invisalign-certified provider, Dr. Tran equips her practice with the latest technologies including CEREC, iTero, CBCT, guided implant placement, and IV sedation — all to deliver comfortable, precise, and lasting care. Her greatest joy in dentistry comes from restoring patients’ confidence and ability to smile, eat, and live well.
She is a member of both the Canadian and American Dental Associations and has been passionate about helping others since the age of 12. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tran enjoys time with family, traveling, hiking, snowboarding, and lifelong learning. She has also supported her community through free dental days and local clinics, with plans to continue charitable efforts in the future.
Karina Carreno, Dental Therapist
Carreno focuses on preventive and restorative treatment, including fillings and routine procedures. She works closely with families and children to make visits more comfortable.
Our hygienist, dental assistants, and administrative staff support every appointment — from check-in to treatment to follow-up — helping keep visits organized and welcoming.

We accept most insurance plans, including CDCP. For patients without coverage, Saskatoon Downtown Dentist provides an in-house savings plan with straightforward terms and no waiting periods. Technology And Approach
We use digital tools such as iTero® scanning, CBCT imaging, and CEREC where appropriate to assist with diagnosis and restorative treatment. Patient records are managed digitally to keep information secure and easy to access.
